Acadia National Park

Gorgeous. Huge park with so many options for hiking and walking- we chose an easier path, the Gorham Mountain Trail, so Benelli could join us, but it was no walk in the park… get it?… Ok, sorry for that.

The trail consisted mostly of smooth rocky pathways. It made me cringe watching Benelli run up the path and rocky steps- he thinks he’s 3, but he was 11 at the time with bad hips, but he went up that mountain like a champ.

The hike took a little over an hour, and oh man, it was well worth it. It also happened to be an absolutely beautiful day with perfect weather.

Once we finished the hike, we ventured down to the beach.

We also drove up to the top of another mountain to get another amazing view.
